The Bedford Goju-Ryu Karate-Do Kyokai are the proud sponsors  of the Michigan Central Great Lakes Qualifying Tournament for the 2009 USA-NKF National Championships and Team Trials – July14 to 19 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Events;                          Open Kata            (All Divisions – Beginner, Novice, Intermediate, Advanced)

                                    Mandatory Kata            (16+ Advanced Divisions Only) The WKF Shitei Kata list will be used.

                                    Kumite                        (All Divisions)

Fees;                                      $40 Up to four individual events, $5 Additional for late registration after May 24, 2008

Spectator Fee;                        $5 ADULTS, $2.50 CHILDREN

Awards;                        Gold, Silver, & (Dual) Bronze Medals (1st - 4th place)

USA-NKF memberships are required to qualify for the 2009 National Championships and Team Trials in Fort Lauderdale, Florida from July 14 to 19. USA-NKF memberships will be available at the tournament.
